Free School Meals and Pupil Premium

Your child will be able to get free school meals if they are in Reception class, Year 1 or Year 2.

The school receives additional funding for all children that are eligible for free school meals but they must also be registered for the school to receive the additional funding available. So, even if your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 please visit the link below to check whether your child is entitled to free school meals. Universal Infant free school meals will stop at the end of Year 2 unless you register.

If you receive any of the following benefits, your child/children would be entitled to FREE SCHOOL MEALS and other support in school:

  • Universal Credit with a household income of less than £7,400 a year (after tax and not including any benefits you get)

  • Income-Based Jobseekers' Allowance

  • Income-Related Employment and Support Allowance

  • Child Tax Credit, not entitled to Working Tax Credit and household income less than £16,190

  • Support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

  • Guarantee element of State Pension Credit

  • Income Support

  • Working Tax Credit 'run on' – the payment you receive for a further four weeks after you finish work
