Arctic Alive December 2019

In December, we were lucky to have access to the Arctic Alive circumpolar map for a week!
The teachers in every year group planned lots of exciting things for the children during the week to enhance their learning in Geography.
Miss Coar, as Geography lead, spoke to lots of children about their sessions at the end of the week and was impressed with what they could talk about!
The children had been learning about the location of the Arctic, what defines the Arctic, the climate and how this is changing and how animals and plants have adapted to survive there.
